A Culinary Marathon: Capturing the Essence of Kussifay’s New Menu
As a food photographer, there’s a certain thrill in capturing the essence of a dish on camera. And let me tell you, my recent photoshoot for Kussifay, a renowned Argentinian restaurant in Hollywood, Florida, was a true culinary marathon!
This wasn’t your average photoshoot. Over a full day, I embarked on a mission to photograph every single item on Kussifay’s new menu. That’s right, over 120 dishes – from sizzling steaks and gourmet pizzas to delicate empanadas, flavorful sanguches (the Argentinian take on a sandwich), and decadent desserts. The kitchen buzzed with energy, the chef and cooks a well-oiled machine churning out culinary masterpieces. Burgers, salads, crepes – the variety was astounding.
But here’s the thing: speed doesn’t compromise quality in my world. As a photographer specializing in culinary and gastronomic delights, my goal is to make viewers salivate at their screens. The presentation of the plate is paramount in achieving that – it’s the first bite with the eyes, after all. Thankfully, Kussifay’s team absolutely delivered. Every dish that emerged from the kitchen was a work of art, eliminating the need for any reshoots – a rarity in the fast-paced world of food photography.
