The vibrant reception followed at the luxurious The Brazilian Court Hotel, creating a day filled with tradition, beauty, and joyous celebration that was an absolute privilege to document.
The Preamble: Intimate Moments and Details
My day started by capturing the excitement and anticipation in both the bride and groom’s getting-ready rooms. From the bride and her bridesmaids sipping champagne to the groom and his friends sharing laughter, I filmed details like shoes, rings, and other elegant accents. These intimate moments allowed me to set the scene for a truly personalized wedding film.
The Ceremony: Tradition and Splendor
My experience attending previous Orthodox weddings in my family, gave me the advantage of anticipating the special moments unique to this faith. Inside St. Catherine’s, I was awestruck by the stunning ceiling art and golden vaults, which provided a magnificent backdrop for the ceremony. I discreetly captured the groom’s entrance, the bride’s arrival, and the moving details of their union.
The Reception: A Celebration to Remember
The Brazilian Court Hotel provided the perfect setting for a vibrant reception. DJ El Cumacho kept the energy high all night long. I loved seeing the mix of cultures, the surprise appearance of Brazilian samba dancers, and the infectious joy in everyone as they danced.
